Hi I am Steve Rowe and this is my 1st wooden boat build. A Lesro Arrow. Below is a description off Lesro’s website.
Fast stable and lots of fun the ARROW is easy to construct and gives you that off shore power boat look Timber and ply construction for 6 or 12 volt IC 2.5cc max Length 25 3/8 ” (654mm) Beam 7 3/8 ” (187mm). The Lesro kit boat range was first introduced by Les Rowell in the 1950’s. He produced a range of kits which sold in their thousands as he had a way of capturing the look and style of boats in their hay day.

Joining the cockpit sides to the bulkheads
Boat stand made and bulkheads fitted to keele.
Fitting the stringers
Motor, motor mount and propshaft positioned over side plan.
First of the skins glued into place.
Bottom skins done.
Flexable motor mounts in position ready for gluing.
Gluing down the front deck.
Top deck done.
Extra decking made to laminate flush with deck hatch covers.
Fiber glass matting applied ready for Eze-Kote water based resin.
Spray rails shaped and glued to hull.
Spray paint primer applied.
Starting to look like a boat.
First colours applied.
Rear hatch and cockpit.
Installing the plumbing and electrics.
